It really is. The Evil Dead series is amazing. It gets more ridiculous with each film. xD

Got to see a midnight showing of Iron Man 2.

Tops the first film in every way, if that's possible.
Deeper interactions between the good guys, a more passionate and complex villain....and we get to see Scarlet Johansen beat the living crap out of a small army.

I wasn't sure how to comment on the previously mentioned asskickery until my wife leaned over and said "I'd do her."
Yeah...Scarlet's the real star of this movie, as far as the "action film" part of it goes.

The best word to sum up this movie as compared to the first: DEEPER.
Everything, every character, even the random SHIELD agent from the first movie, the villain, plus the little extra after the credits (it's a good thing that was worth the wait...after almost 3 hours I had to PEE).

Don Cheadle owns the part of Rhoadie in ways that make Terrence Howard look like an amateur.

War Machine...looks awesome, kicks ass...and even provides a little comic relief.

My one and only complaint:
Whoever let Sam Rockwell play Justin Hammer needs to be shot and speared and castrated with a red-hot spork.

Seriously.

If they were worried that audiences would be too stupid to see a difference between Obadiah Stane and Justin Hammer, they seriously didn't know their freakin' audience.

The audience that showed up on opening night in thousand-dollar Iron Man and War Machine and Thor and Captain America and Wasp (costumes, and quite possibly knows the characters better than anyone who's never worked for Marvel.

Seriously guys, your target audience KNOWS THE CHARACTERS...except when you butcher them in favor of a metrosexual villain!
Then you didn't even give us the pleasure of seeing Hammer sliced in half by one of Ivan's whips! WTH?!
You'd already shown Ivan to be a master hand-to-hand fighter!
Show us Ivan snapping Hammer's neck or something!

Not that I'm ranting or anything.

I went and saw Robin Hood the other night. Was decent. Nothing truly special, but something caught my attention in the previews.

The Adjustment Bureau. Looks like a remake/less fantastical version of Dark City (Which I enjoyed). I'll have to see that one. Looks interesting.

Just saw Invictus again. Loved it the first time, even better the second time. Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon are perfect for their roles, and their on-screen interaction seems to have excellent chemistry. The movie is supported by a compelling (and true, though dramatized) story.

@ Dome: I hated A Clockwork Orange.

That was the point, to leave you wonder. Thought it was tbh very easy to figure out

Isn't Morgan Freeman perfect in EVERY role?

Freeman is one of my favourite actors, he excels in almost any role he is given, true talent Imo.

The Bucket List is the only movie that has ever made me shed a tear..and this is coming from a horror fanatic. Morgan and Jack are my two favourite actors, I thought they worked really well together chemistry wise.

Picture was slightly annoying to find in a decent size :P

I watched The Blind Side recently, didn't think i'd like that kinda thing but that film is amazing.

Otherwise i've always loved guy ritchie's films, Snatch/Layer Cake/Rock n Rolla/Lock Stock are awesome.

Fargo, Barton Fink and Miracle at St. Anna.

Fargo and Barton Fink were hilarious. Miracle at St. Anna was a good war epic, I've been inspired to see more Spike Lee films.
